The Black Cap Community Hub is a free weekly community space in Camden (London) for LGBTQ+ people and friends. It’s hosted by Black Cap Community and Castlehaven Community Association, and takes place every Monday from 6pm to 9pm at Castlehaven Community Centre.
As well as good company and conversation, some weeks we have an optional activity (e.g. making collages, simple cookery, or watching a film) or a visiting service (e.g. haircuts, clothes alteration help, or sexual health screening and advice).
There are snacks (including vegan and gluten free), tea, coffee, hot chocolate (dairy and plant-based milks available) and other soft drinks. (No alcohol – this is a sober space.) You can chat or just sit quietly (whether you’re taking part in the activities or not) and there are separate quiet rooms too. There’s wifi. It’s all very informal and people are welcome to come and go any time between 6pm and 9pm.
Please read our coronavirus precautions before coming to the Hub in person.
